The official launch of FinHolidays was held recently at Lincoln Toorak with the participation of prominent business and financial stakeholders. The Consul General of Sri Lanka, Pradeepa Saram attended the event as the Guest of Honour. V. Ravindran, the Regional Manager, Asia Pacific, SriLankan Airlines, was also among the special guests.
Speaking at the event, Consul General urged invitees to consider Sri Lanka as their next travel destination and experience immersive Sri Lankan hospitality, authentic cuisine, luxurious venues and unmatched industry networking while underscoring the strategic importance of collaboration with the Australian travel industry.
Adding cultural vibrancy to the event, the official launch encompassed traditional Sri Lankan dances depicting up-country and low-country showcasing the vibrant diversity of Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage. The event also featured a fusion of Bharatanatyam and screening of tourism promotional videos that offered a glimpse into Sri Lanka’s unique blend of heritage, wellness, wildlife, and hospitality.
The Consul General’s participation at the event is part of the Consulate’s ongoing efforts to promote inbound tourism to Sri Lanka.
