Sri Lanka German Technical Training Institute Old boy’s Association of Australia Inc (SLGTTIOBA) conducted its 29th Annual Sri Lankan New Year Festival on 06.04.2025 @ Dandenong grounds. Consul General Mrs. Pradeepa Saram attended the event as the Guest of Honor along with Federal M.P for Bruce Julian Hill, Mayor Cr. Jim Memeti of Greater Dandenong, Cassandra Fernando M.P for Holt and Dr. Michelle Ananda – Rajah (Senate candidate for Victoria).
Addressing the gathering Consul General Mrs Saram commended the organizers on their focus on multicultural harmony. Melbourne hosts the largest Sinhala – Tamil (Avurudu) celebration outside of Sri Lanka.
